Badminton Europe Umpire Assessment Panel
The BEC Umpire Assessment Panel has three main functions:
- Lead and instruct Badminton Europe National Umpire Workshops and Appraisals
- Conduct assessments and through here make recommendations on upgrading umpires to BEC Accredited and Certificated level

Chair of the Umpire Assessment Panel
Iris Metspalu (EST) has been appointed as chair of the Umpire Assessment Panel by the Chair of the Technical Officials Commission.
Gunars Lusveris (LAT) has been appointed as deputy chair of the Umpire Assessment Panel to assist/replace the chair when/if needed.
Sven Serré (BEL) has been appointed as Badminton Europe Umpire Coordinator by the Chair of the Technical Officials Commission.
