European Junior Championships
The European Junior Championships (U19) is the most prestigious event for Europe’s young badminton players. First held in 1969, the event has become a cornerstone in the development of future stars, offering a platform where rising athletes can test themselves against the very best of their generation.
The tournament is held every two years (in even-numbered years) and includes both a team competition and individual events across five disciplines: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
The Championships not only celebrate excellence but also showcase the depth, strength and ambition of the next generation, highlighting the players and nations shaping the future of European badminton.
