European Championships
The European Championships is Badminton Europe’s most prestigious event, bringing together the continent’s top players to compete for the ultimate honour - the title of European Champion. From 2024 onwards, the tournament takes place every year in week 15 (except in years when the European Games are held). Across five disciplines - men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles - the event officially crowns the best male and female players and pairs in Europe.
Since its debut in 1968, the event has been the proving ground for Europe’s greatest badminton legends. Today, it remains a key highlight on the international badminton calendar, combining history, excellence, and world-class competition.
