European Mixed Team Championships

The European Mixed Team Championships bring together the very best national teams from across Europe to compete for the ultimate honour – the title of European Mixed Team Champions. Unlike individual competitions, this event celebrates the power of the team, where men and women join forces to represent their country on the international stage.

The tournament is held every two years in February (in odd-numbered years). It begins with qualification rounds hosted in different countries across Europe, where teams compete for a place in the final stage. At the finals, the event opens with group matches played over three days, followed by the semi-finals and final, where the continent’s strongest nations fight for the title. The tournament remains one of the most exciting team competitions on the badminton calendar – where unity, strategy, and spirit matter just as much as skill.
