The French Badminton Federation (FFBaD), approved by the Ministry in charge of sports, has the mission to develop, control and organize the practice of badminton on French territory.

The FFBaD is looking for a physical preparation officer to support the national project of the INSEP Olympic Pole and implement it throughout the national territory. The FFBaD and its National Technical Director wish to continue the implementation of this project by recruiting a framework consistent with the sustainability, coherence and continuity of the federal system as well as the current National Senior Badminton Project.

MAIN MISSIONS
  • Participate in the development of the programming and planning of the season with the head coach and the single/ double managers of the Olympic center of Insep.
  • Set up the work load monitoring in cooperation with the head coach, the single/ double national coaches and the Sports Data Scientist team of the Olympic Center of INSEP.
  • Develop the daily monitoring systems of the internal load (HRV, "wellness" availability questionnaire, RPE session, etc.) and the external load (Sensors and connected equipment) of the centralized training in the Athlète360 platform.
  • Ensure the use of training monitoring tools on a daily basis (embedded sensors, connected equipment, etc.), and the organization of data recovery.
  • Organize and facilitate physical preparation and preventive athletics sessions with the players of the INSEP Olympic Centre.
  • Manage and support physical preparation trainees recruited annually.
  • Actively collaborate with all staff members (coaches, sports scientists, functional trainers, doctors, physiotherapists, etc.) and associated INSEP services to inform and optimize choices.
  • Ensure technical and technological monitoring of the activity.
  • Travel with the team to reference competitions, international tournaments/ international competition tours, as well as training camps for reference competitions (foreign, altitude, etc.).

PROFILE SOUGHT

Knowledge
  • From the Olympic and Paralympic sport environment and especially in high level badminton (organization, issues).
  • About the requirements of high level badminton competition (training, technique, physics, etc.).
  • Proven expertise in training load planning and monitoring, training issues in a controlled environment and physical preparation methods are necessary.
  • The system of international competitions.
  • A high level badminton culture will be appreciated.
  • Communication and social skills.

  • Experience at international badminton
