The French Badminton Federation (FFBaD), approved by the Ministry in charge of sports, has the mission to develop, control and organize the practice of badminton on French territory.

The FFBaD is looking for a senior badminton project manager to pilot the national single and double project based in particular on the INSEP Olympic Pole and implemented throughout the national territory. The FFBaD and its National Technical Director wish to continue the implementation of this project by recruiting a framework consistent with the sustainability, coherence and continuity of the federal system as well as the current simple national project.

MAIN MISSIONS
  • Ensure the mission of responsible for the Olympic project in all dimensions impacting the performance of senior players (its) in doubles and singles in respect of the organization.
  • Manage the technical staff of the training centers of the Federal Performance structure and private structures with elite players (its) whose ambition is to win medals in big events.
  • Plan and validate the entire program of competitions and training camps of the players (its) in collaboration with the double and single national coaches and coaches of private structures.
  • Validate individual performance projects and objectively evaluate (key performance indicators - KPIs) the progress of senior players and players (his) high performance access centers on the CREPS in Strasbourg and Bordeaux.
  • Set up the processes of briefing, coaching, debriefing and video analysis in competition and participate in the management of coaches and players in competition.
  • Propose to the Performance Director and the National Technical Director the whole planning, training and competition programming and to ensure the responsibility for administrative and financial monitoring.
  • Lead regular meetings of senior badminton coaches/technical staff and participate in federal performance project meetings.
  • Collaborate with the coach education director and the events director to bring systemic coherence in the construction of the long-term performance of the players.
  • Contribute to the development of high-performance French coaches.
  • Ensure the role of team manager during international reference competitions including all administrative and financial monitoring.
  • Report to Sport Performance Director and National Technical Director.
  • Participate in other tasks directly or indirectly related to the performance project requested by the Performance Director.

  • Scientific and training knowledge.
  • Organization management and planning, programming, training, and competition.
  • Excellence vision and high-performance experience.
  • Mental preparation, physical preparation, performance monitoring, proficiency in DATA tools and video analysis system.
  • Excellent knowledge of international competitions system and selection modalities at international team events.
  • A very high-level badminton culture.
Know-how
  • Have training and management experience of international and Olympic level badminton performance projects.
  • Writing individual performance projets and briefing, coaching, debriefing, video analysis in competition
  • Communication skills with coaches and a player/group of players.
  • Administrative and financial monitoring of a performance project.
  • Participate in meetings with colleagues, elected to present their opinions and vision in line with the national singles and doubles projects.
  • Proficiency in english of a sufficient level for the management of courses, competitions, foreign mails.
  • Expected to work at irregular hours and on weekends.
Soft skills
  • Ability to work as a team with corporatism, loyalty and commitment to the system, staff, players and the direction of sports performance.
  • Relationship with staff, players, federation colleagues and elected officials.
  • Strong convictions and vision in line with the national project and the FFBaD system, while being in the perspective of bringing its capital gains.
