Sustainability is an integral part of how Badminton Europe governs, develops and delivers badminton across Europe.
Our approach is rooted in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and aligned with our Strategic Plan 2025–2028.
We focus on areas where badminton can make a real and measurable difference within our sphere of influence. This includes reducing our environmental footprint, strengthening inclusion and safeguarding, and ensuring transparent and responsible governance.
Sport has a unique power to inspire change, connect communities and influence positive behaviour. By embedding sustainability into our administration, events, participation and high performance activities, we lead by example.
Our strategy is impact-oriented, evidence-based and driven by stakeholder engagement. We start small, learn fast and scale what works.
Through this work, we aim to secure a sustainable future for European badminton – today and for generations to come.
