Milan Ludik (Czech Republic) who is a member of BEC “Centre of Excellence”, was a semifinalist in KaBal International Karvina 2018 tournament two weeks ago.
Ludik is world no. 94 this week on the men’s singles world ranking list. He shared his thoughts and future plans with Badminton Europe:
-It is nice to be finally back in top 100. I hope to keep climbing up because my goals are bigger.
-I will not play any more tournaments before the Europeans. I had many tournaments until now and I would like to prepare well for the European Championships, Ludik tells Badminton Europe.
Other COE players improving
Iikka Heino (Finland) has climbed two spots, occupying position no. 118.
Felix Burestedt (Sweden) has moved three spots up, currently sitting on position no. 140.
Jonathan Persson (Germany) has advanced by three spots to occupy position no. 147.
Men’s singles players sticking together
Mark Zwiebler (Germany) and Thomas Rouxel (France) climbed one spot up each, currently occupying positions no. 63 and no. 64 respectively. Lucas Claerbout (France) and Kalle Koljonen (Finland) are confidently following them as they both moved two spots up to occupy positions no. 65 and no. 66.
Victor Svendsen (Denmark), Raul Must (Estonia), Kim Bruun (Denmark) are sticking together as well, as they have climbed one positions up, becoming world no. 68, no. 69 and no. 70 respectively.
Lucas Corvee (France) has climbed one position up to occupy position no. 49.
