Badminton Europe is seeking a coach for a full-time position to join the BEC Centre of Excellence in Holbæk, Denmark.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Coach – BEC Centre of Excellence
Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 16 full-time employees backing up an elected Board of Directors servicing our 53 Members. Information on the organization can be found here.
The Coach will be part of the Coaching team at the BEC Centre of Excellence that consists of a Head Coach, Coach, and Physios. The Coach will be reporting to the Head Coach on sporting matters and to the Development and High-Performance Senior Manager on administrative matters.
Working tasks

Long-, mid- and short-term planning of training

Daily training Monday to Friday

Individual training and tournament planning

Video analysis

Goal setting with players and evaluation

Setting up and maintaining player profiles

Communication with the players stakeholders

Coaching at tournaments

Recruitment of players
Qualifications
-
You have experience from being part of an elite training environment as a player or as a coach

You have a BWF Level 3 or equivalent Coach Education

You are fluent in written and spoken English

You are a strong communicator

You have initiative and personal drive

You can work and deliver within deadlines

You are a team player

You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office
Remuneration will be in the range of 35.000 euro/year before tax and with an additional pension scheme.
The job cannot be combined with other international badminton related jobs or coaching.
The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Denmark and should have the necessary work permission in the EU to be considered for the job. There will be possibilities to rent accommodation at the Centre of Excellence.
The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young and dynamic environment.
