Today at the 57th Annual Delegates’ Meeting during the 2024 BEC Congress in Budapest, Badminton Europe announced the election of a new Vice-President and two Directors to its Board of Directors, with their tenure set from 2024 to 2028.

The elections resulted in Andrej Pohar representing the Badminton Association of Slovenia being elected as Vice-President. Pohar brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served as the Chair of the Badminton Europe Governance Committee since 2021 and a member of the Board of Directors since 2017.

Four candidates were up for election for two Director positions on the Board. The elected Directors are Sylvain Benaïn representing the French Badminton Federation and Radomir Jovović representing The Badminton Association of Serbia.

The BEC Congress will conclude with the 2024 BEC Awards Gala tonight, where the winners will be celebrated. Stay tuned for updates and the announcement of the award winners.
