BEC Congress begins in Budapest

The 2024 BEC Congress kicked off today in Budapest, Hungary, drawing members from 44 countries and over 100 attendees. This two-day event promises a packed agenda with discussions on critical topics and important electoral decisions before a grand closure with the BEC Awards.

Highlights of today included a keynote address by Thomas Lund, Secretary General of the BWF. The agenda also features discussions about the Strategic Plan for the upcoming period, the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics, updates from BEC, and presentations from candidates for the positions of BEC Vice-President and two Directors on the Board – with the elections taking place tomorrow.
