As we enter day 3 of the European Championships in Saarbrücken, we are going to get our first glimpses of the faces of the stars that the fans have waited for all week.

The top seeds are setting their feet on the court today, and we are going to give you a snippet of the amazing day 3 ahead of us.

Viktor Axelsen will look to improve his results from the French Open and All England where he had early exits, after his 2-months lay-off due to an injury. Today at the European Championships, he is competing against Kai Schaefer (GER) who will surely have a home-advantage but will have a tough time against the world nr. 1.
The match can be watched at 7pm CET on badmintoneurope.tv

Carolina Marin is currently looking dominant and will try to extend her 10-match winning streak, where she recently added to new trophies from the All England, and Swis Open to her already impressive resumé. She will also try to defend her 6 consecutive titles as European Champion. She is facing Rachel Sugden (SCO) and is expected to win. The match can be watched here at around 1pm CET
