The 48th VICTOR FZ FORZA Hungarian International Championships 2023 came to a close yesterday, showcasing a dominant presence of English and Danish shuttlers in the finals.

In Budapest, Hungary, the men's singles final was between England's Harry Huang [4] and Denmark's Karan Rajan Rajarajan [7], with Huang emerging victorious with a scoreline of 21-18 21-16.

In the women's division, the top-seeded Frederikke Lund [1] faced off against Hungary's second seed, Agnes Korosi [2], in a fierce three-game battle that concluded with a score of 21-18 21-16.

The men's doubles category witnessed another England-Denmark showdown, this time with the Danish pair, Rasmus Espersen and Marcus Rindshøj, emerging as champions after defeating the top-seeded duo of Alex Green and Brandon Zhi Hao Yap with a score of 23-21 19-15 21-15.

Breaking the pattern, the women's doubles title was claimed by Spain's Paula Lopez and Lucia Rodriguez, who outplayed Canada's Jackie Dent and Crystal Lai, securing victory with a score of 22-20 21-15.

Finally, the mixed doubles final featured Rasmus Espersen, who clinched his second gold medal of the day, partnering with Amalie Cecilie Kudsk to defeat Spain's Ruben Garcia and Lucia Rodriguez with a score of 18-21 21-14 18-21.
