Anders Antonsen (DEN) is back to top 4. The Dane had been world no. 4 seven weeks in a row before going one step back according to last week’s world ranking list.
This week, with 75950 points Antonsen is leading the list of Europe’s men’s singles players in the BWF world ranking list.
The next one on the list is Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen, ranked no. 5, with 75788 points. He got into semifinals in his last two tournaments –Denmark Open and French Open.
Spain’s Carolina Marin has moved seven spots up on the women’s singles world ranking list and is currently standing on position no. 10. Denmark’s Mia Blichfeldt comes next on position no. 17 after descending four positions down.
Line Kjaersfeldt (DEN) has moved one spot up, standing on position no. 26. Kirsty Gilmour (SCO) and Evgeniya Kosetskaya (RUS) are occupying positions no. 29 and no. 30 respectively.

Doubles standings
In the men’s doubles world ranking list Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen (DEN) have moved one spot up to occupy position no. 7. Next on the ranking list are England’s Marcus Ellis/Chris Langridge on position no. 19. Mark Lamsfuss/Marvin Siedel (GER) are following them on position no. 20.
On the women’s doubles world ranking list Bulgaria’s Gabriela Stoeva/Stefani Stoeva have moved one spot down and are now standing on position no. 11.
Marcus Ellis/Lauren Smith (England) are currently number one European pair on the mixed doubles world ranking list, occupying position no. 8. Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock (England) have moved two spots up to occupy position no. 11.
Mark Lamsfuss/Isabel Herttrich have moved one spot up to hit the top 20. The German pair was the second seed in this week’s Saarlorlux Open2019, however they didn’t compete. Mark Lamsfuss later wrote on his Instagram account.
-I am not able to compete! Unfortunately I twisted my ankle on Sunday and I tried my best to get ready but without success. The doctors did not give me the nod.
