Anders Antonsen and Brice Leverdez will play the Men’s Singles final at the European Games 2019.

The two favorites in the Men’s Singles semi-finals came out on top, and the badminton fans of Europe will be looking forward to a Danish-French clash in the final on Sunday.

Anders Antonsen won in straight games, 21-9 21-11, against Misha Zilberman, Israel, while Brice Leverdez beat Raul Must from Estonia 22-20 21-8.

- I think I was a bit more in shape than him. When I am confident like this, I think he also gives me easier shots to play, and then I can play really well, Leverdez said.

- There was a lot of things, that made the difference. I feel I was the better man in every aspect of the game today, Antonsen said.

Prepare for the best version of Leverdez
Antonsen and Leverdez will meet in the final on Sunday. Previously Brice Leverdez has shown that he is capable of beating the best players at the biggest stage. Tomorrow he is ready to do it again.

- I am sure I will be on the right path tomorrow. I am always in the good mood to play finals. There is no question – I am going to be ready, the French said.

Anders Antonsen knows that he will face a strong opponent on Sunday.

- I will prepare for the best version of Brice, and the best version of him is really good. He has beaten Lee Chong Wei a few times, and he is a really good player, when he is playing with nothing to lose, Antonsen said.

- I think this is the right final. I feel we are the two best players in the tournament, so I hope that we can deliver a good match.
