Badminton Europe is seeking a Officer in the field of Communication for a full-time position to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 9 full time employees backing up an elected Board of Directors of 14 Directors and 53 Member Associations. Information on the organization can be found on www.badmintoneurope.com
The Officer will be responsible for the news coverage and for the creation and production of engaging and innovative content for the biggest platforms for Badminton Europe. This may include attending and covering European Championships and other prestigious badminton tournaments in Europe.
The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

• Being responsible for specific elements of the Badminton Europe app
• Video editing to produce for instance short highlights from events as well as other video elements

• Live streaming production

Qualifications position:
• You are an educated journalist
• You are fluent in written and spoken English
• You have experience with news distribution
• You are comfortable working with video editing
• You are comfortable working with video camera and lights settings
• You have experience in website maintenance
• You have experience working with social media
• You are familiar with the world of badminton
• You have initiative and personal drive
• You can work and deliver within deadlines
Salary pending qualifications
The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Copenhagen and should have the necessary work permission in the EU to be considered for the job.
The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young and dynamic environment.
