Alongside the 2014 European Men’s and Women’s Team Championships in Basel (11 -16 February), the 1st European U15 Championships will take place from 14 to 16 February in the St. Jakobshalle. 30 countries have entered the competition (see all entered teams below).

Semi-finals and Finals will be played on Sunday, 16 February. The detailed schedule will be announced soon. The entire tournament can be followed via live scoring on tournamentsoftware.com.

“Kids can play next to their idols”

“We are glad that 30 countries will come to Basel to take part in the first European U15 Championships. We felt it was the right time to introduce an official European Championships for that age group. Therefore we are happy that our idea - to play the junior event alongside a big international team event - has been taken very well by our Member Associations. The kids can play next to their idols”, said Peter Tarcala, Badminton Europe Director for Sport.
