The 2013 Badminton Europe Congress was held in the beautiful city of Bratislava in Slovakia in excellent facilities at the Sheraton Bratislava Hotel. Following this successful event Badminton Europe Council decided to continue staging the congress away from the European Championships.

Badminton Europe is now looking for a host for its Annual Delegates’ Meeting on Saturday 12th April 2014 which will be followed by the 2nd Badminton Europe Gala Awards Evening.

Please be informed that there is an opportunity to bid for the 2014 Badminton Europe Congress which consists of:

*         The 2014 Badminton Europe Annual Delegates' Meeting
*         The 2014 Badminton Europe Awards Gala Evening

The date for the Congress is Saturday 12th April 2014.

We encourage you to consider if you have a city that would be keen in hosting such a Congress and might be willing to part finance the Congress.

The host city would be given opportunities to present themselves at the Annual Delegates' Meeting and be present at the Gala Awards Evening.

The deadline to apply to host the Congress is Wednesday, 18 September 2013.
