Denmark and Norway are seeking National Coaches

Many of our Member Associations are constantly looking for new employees. In our up-to-date job section we present the employment opportunities all around Europe. Currently Badminton Denmark and the Norwegian Badminton Federation (Norges Badminton Forbund) are seeking National Coaches.

Badminton Denmark seek National Coach

Badminton Denmark are seeking an experienced coach to join the national coaching team in the National Training Centre in Broendby, Denmark.

The ideal candidate is an ambitious and result oriented coach, who is passionate about making Danish badminton players medal winners on the world stage. An understanding of working in a challenging and jointly demanding environment would be necessary.

It is expected that the ideal candidate, through many years of coaching or playing badminton, has developed a comprehensive knowledge of high level tactics and international competition. Furthermore, experiences of working with players in groups and at an individual level in a high performance environment are of significant importance. There is an expectation for further development of competencies as a coach for the national team both through formal education and the working together in the team of coaches.

Norges Badminton Forbund seek National Coach

NBF, the national governing body for badminton in Norway, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person as National Coach. The National Coach post will need to have a proven track record in sports development and be able to work with a diverse range of partners.

NBF offers a 1 year fixed term contract (starting August 2013) with an option to extend for 2 years, included the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, if qualified player(s). The job is at the moment based in Oslo (always based where the national badminton centre is), but involves travelling, both domestic and internationally.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with great track record of relevant experience, outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, motivate and manage volunteers and with an up to date knowledge of badminton at international and national level.
