Former European Champion Xu Huaiwen confirmed her participation as staff coach for this year’s BEC Summer School in Vejen, Denmark. This will be her first year working with young players and coaches from all over Europe. Germany's Huaiwen won the European Championships in the women's singles in 2006 and 2008 and was number one on the world rankings. After her playing career she became national coach of the Netherlands.

The 2013 BEC Summer School, which is a combination of a training camp for talented junior players and a coach education course open to all European nations, will take place in Vejen, Denmark from 13 – 20 July.
