Our 2015 BEC Best Para-Badminton Player of the Year winner, Bartlomiej Mroz (POL) had a splendid outing in Sao Paulo, Brazil when he grabbed two golds in men´s singles (SU5) and men´s doubles (SL3 - SU5) at the BWF Brazil Para-Badminton International which ended yesterday.
The current World No. 2 in singles bagged several titles in 2017 since March and he is obviously gaining his winning streak prior to the BWF Para-Badminton World Championships in Ulsan, South Korea (21-26 November).
Mroz´s achievements since March 2017
´This year I have counted 7 international tournaments. I see how the tournament level in the SU5 category grows. In each of them I have won not only the medals, but very valuable experience, which I translate into my workouts. Every victory and defeat this year is a great science for me. I am in the final stage of preparation for the World Championships. I will try to present my peak form. I hope to surprise not one opponent, ´ Mroz on his 2017 journey so far and his hopes for the BWF Para-Badminton World Championships.

Apart from Mroz´s achievements in Sao Paulo, European players who medaled are as follow:
•Amir Levi (ISR) – Gold in men´s singles (WH2), silver in men´s doubles (WH1 – WH2)
•Sonja Hasler (SUI) – Silver in women´s singles, bronze in women´s doubles (WH1 – WH2)
•Tim Haller (GER) – Gold in men´s doubles (SL3 – SL4), silver in men´s singles (SL4)
