Due to requests from the Member Associations to have assistance with Shuttle Time courses, we are inviting interested participants for a Shuttle Time-expert course this November.
With this course, we hope to be able to educate more experts in assistance to helping our Member Associations and continuously developing the sport of badminton in Europe.
Badminton Europe is therefore inviting participants on a personal basis to a Shuttle Time Expert-course. The course will take place in Vejen, Denmark, on 12th and 13th November, 2016, and is organized in close cooperation with Badminton Denmark and Vejen Badminton Club.
The participants who successfully pass the course will become a Shuttle Time Expert and a certificated BWF/BEC Shuttle Time-Trainer, furthermore, they will also be added to our
list of Shuttle Time Experts. Badminton Europe would like to increase the number of people who are able to deliver Shuttle Time Trainer / Tutor-courses, and with this course we take a step in the that direction.
The goal for Badminton Europe is that these newly educated Shuttle Time-experts will be ready to help with the delivery of Shuttle Time-courses in the year of 2017.
Shuttle Time is an important development project, implemented in 2012 on Badminton World Federation (BWF) level to reach every Continental Confederation and their respective Member Associations. In total, Shuttle Time is spread across 101 countries in the hope of giving every child a chance to play for life. It is based on being a badminton programme for schools, supporting the principle that children should lead a healthy and active life.
Badminton Europe is very proud to be the Continental Confederation with the most Shuttle Time-countries, and hope to continue the growth in order to make badminton one of the most popular and accessible sports in Europe – and in the world, both in and out of school.
