In connection with a Badminton Europe Council meeting held in Copenhagen on 17-18 December, the draw for the 2012 European Men's & Women's Team Championships was conducted. The draw was being recorded, and can be seen on Badminton Europe's streaming portal - badmintoneurope.tv

The draw for the women's event was done by Badminton Europe's Vice President, Joao Matos - while the draw for the men's event was done by Peter Tarcala, Badminton Europe's Director for Sport and member of the Committee of Management for the forthcoming event in Amsterdam.
