Women's doubles champions finish Baku 2015 preparations in style in Latvia as Kristin Kuuba and Helina Rüütel of Estonia picked up a well-earned Badminton victory in the run-up to Baku 2015.
The number one seeds confirmed their dominance at the 2015 Yonex Riga International by beating French duo Vimala Heriau and Margot Lambert 20-22, 21-17, 21-12 to take the women's doubles title.
Kuuba and Rüütel have been selected as part of Estonia's team for the Baku 2015 European Games.
Also heading to Baku are Iztok Utroša of Slovenia and Lithuania's Akvile Stapusaityte, but the men's and women's number one seeds both lost in their respective finals.
Utroša fell in the men's singles to Russian fifth seed Sergey Sirant 21-16, 22-20, while Stapusaityte failed to beat sixth seed Anastasia Chervyakova, who came back to win 24-26, 21-14, 21-12 in the final of the women's singles.
Chervyakova did, however, team up with Andrey Parokhodin to win the mixed doubles title, while Denmark's Mads Emil Christensen and Kristoffer Knudsen won the men's doubles.
