Poland started to translate the Shuttle Time resources in the beginning of August 2013. Due to hard work of the Polish Federation and the BWF the resources were finished three months later. To translate the resources and appoint a Shuttle Time coordinator are the first step of a successful Shuttle time introduction.

In the middle of November 2013 Poland ran their first Shuttle Time Tutor courses. The courses were led by Jaroslaw Suwala who was educated through a Badminton Europe Shuttle Time Trainer/Tutor course which was held in Dublin 2012. Forty tutors were educated in these two courses.  In December 2013 the first Teacher courses were organized by the new Tutors and by the end of 2013 Poland had more than 100 educated Shuttle Time Teachers, who introduced badminton in their schools.

Currently 2 Shuttle Time Trainers and 42 Shuttle Time Tutors are educated and working to get more people involved in Shuttle Time. They are trying to bring badminton into every school in Poland. In order to achieve this goal, every certificated Shuttle Time Tutor has to arrange at least 1 teachers’ course every month. As a result of this, Poland already organized 27 Teachers’ courses having 419 certificated Shuttle Time Teachers involved in the program in less than 5 months.

The Polish Badminton Federation is planning to organize another 25 courses in 2014 to educate even more Shuttle Time teachers.
