The second day of the YONEX Bonn International is halfway through and we already saw some intense matches in the main draw's first round.

Yesterday and earlier today in Bonn, it was all about players fighting for their spot in the main draw which started this afternoon. With still many more matches to come today, there have already been some victorious Europeans in the Future Series tournament.

The mixed doubles top-seeded pair Brian Wassink/ Alyssa Tirtosentono (Netherlands) took their first match at the Bonn International, by winning 21-18 21-19 against Low Han Chen/ Chong Jie Yu (Malaysia).  Both Dutch athletes will compete again later today in men’s doubles and women’s doubles, respectively.
