The 2023 European Club Championships will take place from 19 to 23 June at the Corredoria Arena in Oviedo, Spain.

Oviedo is counting down the days to host the 2023 European Club Championships which will take place from 19 to 23 June at the Corredoria Arena Sports Centre in Oviedo, Spain. Thirteen of the best continental clubs will meet in the Asturian capital and, among them, the presence of three national teams stands out: CB Oviedo, Recreativo IES La Orden and CB Rinconada.

Thirteen clubs from nine countries will face each other in a group phase that will take place over the first three rounds, from 19 to 21 June. On Thursday 22, the semifinals will be played and Friday 23 will be the grand final which will conclude with the crowning of the new European champions.

Which clubs will be competing?
Here's the full list of clubs participating in the 2023 European Club Championships below:

  • Port of Baku SC – Azerbaijan
  • Helsingfors BC RF – Finland
  • BH – Iceland
  • TBR – Iceland 
  • Matex Marabadminton – Italy 
  • BC Baloži – Latvia 
  • BC Jonglënster – Luxembourg  
  • Kristiansand BK – Norway 
  • ACD CHE Lagoense – Portugal 
  • CDR Dos Prazeres – Portugal 
  • CB Oviedo – Spain 
  • CB Rinconada – Spain 
  • Recreativo IES La Orden – Spain 

Both IES La Orden and CB Rinconada know what it means to be on the podium in this competition, having won bronze medals in previous editions, and CB Oviedo, as local organisers, will try to cause a surprise in front of their home crowd.

The seedings will be announced on 9 June and the group draw will take place on 12 June. The champions will be officially presented on 16 June at 13.00pm at the Oviedo City Hall.
