In just one week, Tallinn, Estonia will be welcoming young badminton players and coaches from across Europe to the 2024 RSL BEC Summer School to take place from 6 to 13 July.
This event combines a training camp for U15 players and a BWF/BEC Coach Education Level 2 course, marking Estonia's debut as the host city for this esteemed programme.
The Summer School is set to host 64 players from 22 countries and 14 coaching participants from 11 countries, emphasising its role in fostering collaboration and skill development in European badminton. Managed by an experienced team of nine staff coaches from nine different countries, the programme aims to provide a rich learning environment that blends high-level training with valuable networking opportunities.
“We have been preparing this event for months with the host and the staff. I am excited to welcome everyone to the beautiful capital of Estonia, Tallinn. The host has amazing facilities — the main venue has 16 badminton courts, so the players and the coaches have an excellent setup to work together and create an unforgettable experience for everyone,” BEC Development & High Performance Officer Tommi Saksa states.
Estonia's role as a host reflects its ongoing commitment to promoting badminton, building on its experience from organising events in collaboration with Badminton Europe such as the 2021 RSL BEC Para Event. The forthcoming Summer School not only focuses on enhancing the skills of young players but also plays a crucial role in the professional development of current and future badminton coaches in Europe.

With the brand new badminton hall (Lenne Sulgpallikeskus) We hope the players and coaches have the best experience by learning and improving new skills and participating in different activities.
