Not a great day for France
Thom Gicquel/Delphine Delrue of France faced a tough challenge against the Chinese pair Xin Cheng/Chi Zhang. Despite a strong start with a convincing win in the first game, Gicquel and Delrue found themselves locked in a tight battle in the subsequent games. In the end, the French duo lost their match. Christo Popov/ Toma Junior Popov fell short in their semi-final match against a Malaysian pair Junaidi Arif/Roy King Yap. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to overcome their opponents' dominance, bowing out of the tournament in straight games 17-21, 17-21.
Danes William Kryger Boe/Christian Faust Kjær did not advance to the final, losing 15-21, 21-16, 15-21 to Indonesian duo Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani.
