Marin, All England champion once again

Carolina Marin has triumphed once again at the YONEX All England Open Badminton Championships 2024, clinching the women's singles nine years after her first victory.

The women’s singles final between Marin and Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi was marked by a spectacular first game, with the Spanish athlete winning 26-24. Unfortunately, Yamaguchi had to retire from the match due to an injury at 11-1 in favor of Marin, sealing the win for the Spaniard.
