YONEX German Open hits Round of 16

We now go into the third day of the YONEX German Open 2024. The Super 300 tournament heats up with the Round of 16. There are plenty of chances for the top players from the host nation

Germany’s Linda Efler/ Isabel Lohau are set to challenge the seventh seeded duo from Chinese Taipei, Hsu Ya Ching/ Lin Wan Ching. Mark Lamsfuss/ Marvin Seidel prepare for a showdown against Danes Jesper Toft/ Andreas Søndergaard, while Lamsfuss/ Lohau are set to take on third seeds Tang Chun Man/Tse Ying Suet from Hong Kong.

Another German pair, Amelie Lehmann/ Cara Siebrecht, who triumphed yesterday in the first round after advancing from the qualifications, will face off against France’s Margot Lambert/ Anne Tran, third seeds. The day promises more all-European matchups, and plenty of opportunities for advancement to the quarterfinals. For the complete order of play, click here.
