Poland kick off with a big comeback

The Men’s Team Championships had strong openings from some of the teams, with the Netherlands and reigning champions Denmark soaring through their initial Group Stage matches undefeated. France also marked their presence with a 4-1 victory over England.

Yet, the standout story of the day belonged to the host nation, Poland. Facing a 0-2 start against Czechia, the Polish team made the home crowd cheer with a great comeback, clinching the next three matches to win the encounter. 

Day 1, Men’s Results:
  • Denmark 5 – 0 Germany
  • Poland 3 – 2 Czechia
  • France 4 – 1 England
  • Ukraine 0 – 5 Netherlands
