Today at YONEX Welsh International Championships 2023 players showed their skills and fought hard on the courts to get the spot in the quarter and semi-finals.

The Czech player Jan Louda won his match against the Austrian player Luka Wraber 21–15 21-12 and secured his spot in the quarterfinals. In the post-match interview, he mentioned what he would focus on in his next game at the tournament. “I will stay in the rally, wait for the chances, create chances, be active. I think this would be the key points of the match.” Unfortunately, after the second game against RSL BEC Centre of Excellence's player Milan Dratva, Slovakia, Jan retired and Dratva went through to the next round.

20-year-old Finnish player Joakim Oldorff goes into the semifinals as he won his match against Danish player Victor Ørding Kauffman 21-14 21-17. He says, “Of course is nice to be in the semifinals but I am not done yet and I would like to win the whole tournament.”

The semi-finals are going to be even more exciting, with players giving their all to win. The Welsh International continues today with the semifinals, starting at 11am (CET), and with the finals being played at 4pm (CET). Tune in to badmintoneurope.tv to watch all matches.
