Badminton Europe is seeking an Events Officer for a full-time position to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

JOB DESCRIPTION
Events officer – Badminton Europe

Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 16 full time employees backing up an elected Board of Directors servicing our 53 Members. Information on the organization can be found here: www.badmintoneurope.com 

The Events Officer will be part of the Events team that consists of a manager and two officers. The Events Officer be reporting to the Events Manager. 

The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

Relevant working areas
  • Major Events
  • Elite Circuit
  • Junior Circuit
  • U17 Circuit
  • Technical Officials

Major Events
  • Support in the management of the Major Events area
  • Ensuring appropriate planning and use of resources
  • Update website
  • Liaison with Major Events organizers
  • Execution of Major Events
  • Reporting and evaluation for future use

Circuits
  • Support in the management of the Circuits area
  • Daily management of the Junior and U17 Circuit
  • Update website
  • Ensuring appropriate planning and use of resources
  • Sanction procedure

Technical Officials
  • Daily management of the Technical Officials area
  • Ensuring appropriate planning and use of resources
  • Update website



Qualifications
  • You have experience working with events management
  • You have experience in website maintenance
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
  • You have initiative and personal drive
  • You can work and deliver within deadlines
  • You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office

Remunerations will be in the range of 40.000 euro/year before tax and with an additional pension scheme.

The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Copenhagen and should have the necessary work permission in the EU to be considered for the job.

The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young and dynamic environment.
