We are happy to report a big interest for this year's European Universities Championship in Badminton, so make sure you register for the competition through the national university sports bodies in European countries.

In 2023, 20 sports are offered in the EUSA sports programme: Football, Tennis, Table Tennis, Handball, Badminton, Water Polo, 3x3 Basketball, Volleyball, Futsal, Combat Sports (Judo, Karate, Kickboxing, Taekwondo), Basketball, Orienteering, Rugby 7s, Golf, Rowing and Beach Sports (Beach Handball and Beach Volleyball).

The 1st European Universities Championship in Badminton was organised back in 2004, in Krakow, Poland, having 45 competitors from 9 European countries. Ever since, Badminton has been part of the sports program of the European Universities Championship, lastly being organised in 2019 in the city of Lodz, Poland having over 100 participants, representing 15 universities, from 11 countries.

The 13th edition of EUC Badminton will be taking place in Miskolc, Hungary from 13-19 of July, representing their second time to organise a European Universities Championship, after being the host of Basketball in 2017.

The organisers of the European Universities Championship in Badminton, through the Inspection Visit and regular communication, are collaborating successfully with EUSA, to make sure the championship will run smoothly, having great competition standards.

Although we are facing a great number of registrations already for this sport, we encourage you to do not hesitate to register and make sure you ensure your spot in the competition, as the number of places are limited.
