From Thursday to Sunday, October 20 - 23, players from all around the world will set foot in the International Series.

A total of 323 players entered the tournament with alone 64 of them in men’s singles qualification, fighting for the 8 open spots on the main draw. In this year’s edition of the Czech Open every seeded player is European, except for Sabrina Solis (Mexico) in women’s singles and Yeoh Seng Zoe (Malaysia) in men’s singles. Chinese Taipei players, which have been a huge part in the recent European tournaments are not big in number in this one, as this week Denmark Open, World Junior Championships and Indonesia Masters are taking place at the same time.

The top-seeded player in men’s singles is Victor Svendsen (Denmark), who last week played at the YONEX Dutch Open 2022 and lost 19-21 19-21 against Christo Popov. The French youngster went on to win the tournament in Almere. In this week’s first round Svendsen will play against Joonas Korhonen from Finland.
