Caljouw will not be participating in the 2020 Thomas Cup

The Dutch player will not be attending the 2021 Thomas Cup set to start 9 October along the Netherland’s men’s team due to an injury.

Mark Caljouw will not be travelling today with the Dutch men's team to Denmark for the Thomas Cup. The Dutch champion is still suffering from a back injury. In consultation with the medical staff, it was decided to cancel his attendance to the tournament as a precautionary measure.

The Dutch men’s team will compete against defending champions China, India and Tahiti at the Thomas Cup in Aarhus, Denmark, from 9 to 17 October.
