Job offer: Sport Director of the Madrid Badminton Federation
The purpose of this call is to summon the position of Sport Director on which the entire Sports area of the Madrid Federation will depend.
MAIN FUNCTIONS AS SPORT DIRECTOR
o Coordinate and manage the entire sports field of the Federation.
o Schedule and plan the technical activities of each season as CETD (Specialized Center for Sports Technification) Main Coach, including training sessions, analysis of matches, etc. Integrating the dynamics of the CETD with other sports interest groups actions (SBC, under18 categories, etc.)
o Attend competitions and concentrations of CETD (Specialized Center for Sports Technification) athletes, under an approved calendar.
o Participate in the training, promotion, and competition area in coordination with the rest of the workers of the federation to grant a transversal character to the federative activities.
o Budget and logistics management of the Technification Area.
o Coordination and collaboration with the Sport Direction of FESBA (Spanish Badminton Federation).
o Other functions that may be of interest and need for FEMBAD (Madrid Badminton Federation).
CONTRACTING CONDITIONS
⇒ Starting date: September 1st, 2021. (This date could be altered by Covid19).
⇒ Type of contract: Contract under current Spanish legislation.
⇒ Salary: An annual remuneration will be established according to the legislation and to be agreed by the selected one. This amount will be set according to the characteristics of the candidate once the selection process is closed.
⇒ Working hours: Given the position singularity, the weekly working hours will depend on the specific needs of training and competition, which will vary from time to time. There will divided in training hours in the CETD and management hours for the sports area in the federation.
REQUIREMENTS
1) Studies:
⇒ Spanish coaches: Bachelor’s in physical Activity and Sports Science or level III coach or similar at the BWF level. (LEVEL II could be accepted with a commitment to attend the next level III call)
⇒ Foreign coaches: academic Curriculum will be evaluated.
⇒ Intermediate level of both written and spoken English.
It will also be valued:
⇒ Other degrees or higher diplomas associated with the field of Physical Education and Sports.
⇒ Masters, Degrees, or other training courses in the field of Sport.
2) Other merits:
⇒ Projects leadership and initiative.
⇒ Teamwork and group relationships skills.
⇒ Autonomy in managing daily work.
⇒ Recognized experience as national and international coach.
⇒ Experience as National Team athletes’ coach.
