World Academy of Sport Course Pre Event

From the 2nd to the 3rd of November, Badminton Europe (BEC) will be delivering the third edition of World Academy of Sport Courses in Budaörs, Hungary, where the 44th YONEX Hungarian International will also take place.

There will be two courses which will be delivered simultaneously: an Event Management Course and a National Administrators' Course. Both courses are comprised of an initial online theory course followed by a practical weekend, where participants will meet after completing the online course.    

The Event Management Course will introduce elements from how international events on Continental level could and should be organised. 

The events will be having sessions about planning and budgeting, commercial strategies and communication from events. The presenters of the event course will be Jimmy Andersen, BEC Deputy General Secretary and Alexander Regel, BEC Commercial Manager.

The National Administrators Course will introduce elements of administrating a badminton organisation. The administrators will have sessions about constitution, governance, administration, commercial strategies and planning.

The presenters of this course will be Tania Teoh, BEC Development and High-Performance Manager and Alexander Regel, BEC Commercial Manager.

The participants will come from Croatia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and Wales.
