The BEC Para badminton Event started back in 2015 and to date, 4 Member Associations hosted this event: Badminton Nederland (2015 and 2016), Badminton Ireland (2017), Austrian Badminton Association (2018) and Ukrainian Badminton Federation (2019).

For administrators and coaches
Introduction to para-badminton, the ´How to's´ for integrating para badminton in the national federation were discussed and shared among the administrators. From the two and a half day event, administrators were also exposed to best practices from the Portuguese Badminton Federation and the Ukrainian Badminton Federation in their para badminton development. As for the coaches, the BWF Module 13 – Coaching Players with Disabilities was delivered to the coaches and assessments were conducted at the end of the event.

Let's listen to the participants

See you next year
´The BEC Para badminton Event will be organized again next year and we hope to welcome more participants to this event next year. We are extremely delighted that there are already a few Member Associations which shared their interest to host this event next year. I personally look forward to welcoming the participants next year and strongly encourage MAs to apply to participate. Application to participate will be open in the first quarter of 2020', said Luca Crippa.
