BEC “Center of Excellence” player Felix Burestedt (Sweden) has climbed seven spots up on the men’s singles world ranking list this week to enter the top 100 for the first time in his career.

I am very happy to be in the top 100 but still I think that things could have worked out better than they have so far this season, Felix tells Badminton Europe, adding

-This means that I have much more to give. My hopes are that my ranking will improve before the qualification for the Olympic Games starts, so I have a good starting position and a good chance to qualify.

This week’s world ranking list has higher positions for other COE players as well. Milan Ludik (Czech Republic) has moved 15 positions up to stand on position no. 90. Jonathan Persson (Germany) has reached to position no. 120 after moving six spots up. \
