England's Chris and Gabby Adcock have reached the Thailand Open - a BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament - final with a three-game victory over the third seeds from Chinese Taipei.

The Adcocks - the number one seeds in the 350.000 Dollars event - defeated Wang Chi-lin and Lee Chia-hsin 21-16, 19-21, 21-7 after 50 minutes of play.

They will face Indonesian eighth seeds Hafiz Faizal and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja in Sunday's mixed doubles final in Bangkok.

Faizal and Widjaja beat Germany’s Peter Käsbauer/Olga Konon in the opening round and England’s Ben Lane and Jess Pugh in the second round.

An Adcock win tomorrow would see them become the first European pair in any discipline to win a Thailand Open title since 2004, when Nathan Robertson and Gail Emms won the mixed doubles category.

In a repeat of the world championship final, Indian shuttler P.V. Sindhu will face Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the women’s singles final.

Indonesia's Tommy Sugiarto, world No 15, will meet up against Kanta Tsuneyama of Japan in the men's singles final. 22-year old Tsuenyama will appear in his first final on the BWF Tour.

Thailand Open finals:

MS: Tommy Sugiarto (INA) - Kanta Tsuneyama (JPN)

WS: Nozomi Okuhara (JPN) - P.V. Sindhu (IND)

MD: Takeshi Kamura/Keigo Sonoda (JPN) - Hiroyuki Endo/Yuta Watanabe (JPN)
