The number one seeds from England, Chris and Gabby Adcock, book their place in the Mixed Doubles semi-final. But it wasn't without a brief scare at the very end.

Facing a third Indonesian pair in a row in Thailand, the Adcocks defeated 5th seeds Praveen Jordan and Melati Oktavianti, 21-18, 18-21, 21-18. The match was destined to be a tight one, as their only other previous encounter, just a few weeks ago in Malaysia, also went to three games. However, in this match, things got a little tense towards the end, when the Adcocks became a little unstuck when reaching 20-13 in the final game. Subsequently losing 5 points in-a-row, until finally getting across the line.

The Taiwanese pair awaits
In tomorrow's semi-final, they will face 3rd seeds from Taiwan, Wang Chi-Lin and Lee Chia-Hsin. They have met once before in last year's China Open, with Chris and Gabby Adcock victorious in 3 games.
