Carolina Marin (Spain) also succeeded to win the second round of the 2018 Yonex All England Open Championships. In two games she beat Saena Kawakami from Japan. Now she is ready to face another Japanese player

- I am really happy with how I played today. Marin told Badminton Europe after her match.

Marin did not have many problems with her opponent. But at the end of the second set she gave away 6 matchpoints.

- I was not really happy with the end of the second set. I relaxed my body a little and then made unforced errors, Marin continued about her game.
