Hatzor international turned out to be a success for Ksenia Polikarpova. In front of her home audience she took two titles and made her expectations more than true.

Polikarpova was the ultimate favourite to win the women’s singles and she did without any game loss. Also the final against Lia Salehar (Slovenia) was not a great challenge as the 21-15 and 21-12 win portrays.

The women’s doubles however, was much tougher for Polikarpova. Needless to say, she did not face the battles alone.

- Thanks to my partner Krestina Silich (Belarus) for a second gold and that she was the best fighter and killer on the most important points, Polikarpova stated on facebook after her match.

Polikarpova also congratulated her compatriot Ariel Shainski, who delivered the third home title for Israel. Also he got help from Lukas Zevl (Czech Republic) in men’s doubles in order to achieve this.

- Thanks to everyone who came and support us. It is a very big pleasure to play at home with our own crowd and family around, Polikarpova continues.

- Next stop is Hungary where I try to reach new goals.
