Badminton Europe is seeking a Development Officer for a full-time position to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Development Officer – Badminton Europe
High Performance and Development
Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 16 full-time employees backing up an elected Board and 53 Member Associations. The position is supported by the Badminton World Federation. Information on the organization can be found here:

The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required. The job is in The Development & High-Performance department, where you will be the fourth Member of a highly motivated and dedicated team. The Development & High Performance team must deliver on the Strategic plan 2025-2028 related to Development & High Performance. The main areas of focus are:
Grassroot

EU projects

Shuttle Time
-
Para badminton
Member Support
Player Pathway
Coach pathway
The selected candidate will have it´s own portfolio of projects and programs, which the candidate is responsible for.
Badminton Europe has an ambitious plan of engaging into more Erasmus+ and similar EU projects. Experience with project development, project application and project management of Erasmus+ or similar EU projects is an advantage.
The successful candidate will refer to both the Development & High Performance Manager and the Development & High Performance Senior Manager depending on the relevant projects.
Qualifications

You have experience and are motivated by project planning and project management

You have experience working in the area of Sports Development and Sport Management

Insight in BWF and BEC programs is an advantage but not a must

You are fluent in written and spoken English

You have initiative and personal drive

You are structured and can work and deliver within deadlines

You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office

You are a team player
It would be an advantage if you hold a driving license.
Remunerations according to qualifications.
The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Copenhagen and should have the necessary work permission in the EU to be considered for the job.
The preferred candidate should fit in well in an international, dynamic, sporting environment.
