Badminton Europe is seeking a Communication Manager for a full-time position to join its head office in Copenhagen, Denmark. 

JOB DESCRIPTION
Communication Manager – Badminton Europe

Badminton Europe is the Continental Confederation administering the sport of badminton in Europe. There are currently 16 full time employees backing up an elected Board of Directors servicing our 53 Members. Information on the organization can be found here: http://www.badmintoneurope.com 

The Communication Manager will be heading the Communication Team that will consist of an officer, a graphical designer, a video producer and some freelance support. The Communication Manager will be reporting to the General Secretary and servicing the Business Committee. 

The work will include some travelling and some flexibility in working hours will be required.

  • Deliver on and further develop the Communication Plan
  • Design and deliver on Digital Strategy
  • Service the Business Committee and deliver on KPIs, reporting
Communication
  • Manage the website – www.badmintoneurope.com
  • Manage process of establishing new website
  • Manage and develop existing and new apps
  • Manage and ensure growth on the SoMe channels
  • Support efforts of digital monetization
  • Manage the BEC Streaming Channel – www.badmintoneurope.tv
  • Produce video content from onsite studio
  • Ensure onsite coverage of major events and circuit tournaments 
  • Ensure onsite coverage of annual congress and development activities
  • Plan and deliver the BEC Gala Awards Evening 
  • Deliver in accordance with branding manual
Qualifications
  • You have experience managing a team
  • You have experience working with digital strategies and digital marketing
  • You have experience working with various social media
  • You have experience with interviewing
  • You have experience with video editing
  • You have experience in website maintenance
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
  • You have initiative and personal drive
  • You can work and deliver within deadlines
  • You are comfortable working with Microsoft Office 

The successful candidate will have to re-locate to Copenhagen and should have the necessary work permission in the EU to be considered for the job.

The preferred candidate should fit in well in a young and dynamic environment.
