Badminton Europe has launched a new Sustainability Strategy that strengthens how we take responsibility for the future of European badminton. As the governing body for badminton in Europe, we recognise that our role goes beyond sport development and competition – it also includes acting responsibly towards society, the environment and good governance.

The strategy is built on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles and is closely aligned with our Strategic Plan 2025–2028. It focuses on areas where Badminton Europe can make a meaningful and measurable impact, from reducing the environmental footprint of our events to strengthening inclusion, safeguarding and transparent decision-making. By embedding sustainability into our administration and activities, we aim to lead by example, inspire our stakeholders and ensure that the decisions we take today create long-term value for badminton, both on and off the court.
