May 6-10 2026 Badminton Europe launched the 4th edition of our highly successful Advance Education for top coaches from all over the continent. 16 carefully selected coaches went to the High-Performance Centre in Holbæk, Denmark.

Badminton Europe is committed to educating the future top coaches that can take European Badminton to the next level. 16 new coaches from 14 European countries started this journey has started a year long journey that will take their coaching to the next level.

The first course had a strong focus on:

1) Learning theory – how coaches can optimize learning for the athletes of the future

2) Tactical rules of thump in singles

3) Understanding the fundamental principles of the netgame at high level

4) Anticipation

Coaches also touched base with coaching philosophy, talent development and much more in a great first rendition that we look forward to build upon.

The second leg of the physical courses will take place July 12-19 alongside our Team Europe project in Vejen, Denmark.
