Contract Signed for the 2026 European Men's and Women's Team Championships

All formalities are now in place, and the contract for the 2026 European Men's and Women's Team Championships has been officially signed.
Badminton Europe President Sven Serré and Türkiye Badminton Federation President Ercan Yildiz signed the agreement today, 5 October 2025, during the European Para Badminton Championships in Istanbul, Türkiye.
A sincere thank you to the Türkiye Badminton Federation for their great cooperation throughout the process.

The 2026 European Men's and Women's Team Championships will also be hosted in Istanbul, at the Başakşehir Sports Complex, from 11 to 15 February 2026.

Qualification events for the main championships will take place across eight locations – Estonia, Czechia, Ireland, Portugal, Bulgaria, England, Germany and Lithuania – between 3 and 7 December 2025.
